I went to a fireman's muster, where all the firemen in my hometown get together and race each other in various events (who can get the hose together the fastest, who has better accuracy, who can fill a bucket faster, etc.). My husband and I also went to Canobie Lake Park, an amusement park about an hour from our house. It was fun, until I got a mild concussion from one of the roller coasters and it started to rain.

  52. My summer wasn't always fun because I was in school. This was the 7th semester (of 8) of the nursing program, and I wrote my last final today. I am so very happy! Still, I did get to spend a few fun days on the beach, I went for a very short camping trip (just one night), and I went to a music festival. Not super exciting, but I feel that because I was in school, it made me appreciate the time away so much more! Thank you for a chance to win some lovely Mad Tosh yarn, it's oh so pretty!

  60. I went with a friend to a lake in the higher elevations which was fun in itself but coming home we got stopped on the road due to an accident. The driver was drunk and smashed the truck and took off running. There was a helicopter circling the area so my friend and I got out of the vehicle and walked up to the accident. On the way I stopped to pet horses and donkeys in a trailer. It was an adventure for us and noone was hurt so it turned out good. MDeborah53@aol.com

  89. Somehow that colorway reminds me of dragons, you know, the green ones with red or orange spikes on their back?

This summer I moved in together with my fiance to both of ours first apartment. Sure it was a hassle with the paperwork (we're both Finnish students so we applied for social welfare for the summer plus of course the mandatory address changes and electric billing and internet connections and such) but we found the perfect apartment for us and the perfect couch for our livingroom at a second-hand store for only 40 euros! And I got a new bicycle with the leftover money from our moving budget!
Another thing I did in the summer was finish my biggest project so far: my first ever cardigan! Also my first 'real' lace project. So many first things during the summer. The holiday could have lasted longer though. :D

    Thanks for this giveaway!
